Chief Secretary, Haryana visits Surajkund International Crafts Mela

Sh Depinder Singh Dhesi, Chief Secretary, Haryana, visited the 30th Surajkund International Crafts Mela being organized at Surajkund, Faridabad on Saturday afternoon. A warm welcome was extended by Dr Sumita Misra, Vice Chairperson, Surajkund Mela Authority and Sh Vikas Yadav, Chief Administrator, Surajkund Mela Authority to Sh Depinder Singh Dhesi, who visited the international area and interacted with the craftspersons. He also visited Apna Ghar, Haryana and donned the signature Haryanvi turban. Sh Dhesi complimented the efforts undertaken by Surajkund Mela Authority and Haryana Tourism to organise the Mela on such a grand scale.



Later, Sh Depinder Singh Dhesi unveiled the 30th Surajkund International Crafts Mela souvenir at the Chaupal along with Dr Sumita Misra and Sh Vikas Yadav. The Mela souvenir has been well-designed and encapsulates the myriad initiatives undertaken during the ongoing Mela. There chapters namely Make In India, Digital India, Women Empowerment, Heritage Crafts revolve around the Mela while chapters are also dedicated to Haryana Tourism, Farm Tourism & Telangana Tourism.
